A low coat alternative to expensive "booties."
WetProof Plus is a highly effective waterproofing system incorporating a flexible, 55 micron microporous polyurethane membrane laminated to a heat set tricot and a web adhesive. Microporosity permits moisture vapor transmission from inside the shoe to keep feet dry and comfortable, while at the same time preventing moisture penetration from the outside.
EMTEX WetProof Plus can be laminated to any of our high performance linings and, in conjunction with the EMTEX waterproof seam sealing tape, creates a package that delivers a truly waterproof shoe at up to 50% lower cost than the "brand name" products.
WetProof Plus allows shoe manufacturers to produce waterproof products at a wide variety of price points, and EMTEX provides complete technical assistance for program start-up. WetProof Plus conforms to all standard manufacturing techniques. |
