EMTEX SnakeGuard
& ThornShield Puncture Protection

SnakeGuard or ThornShield are used as backer material for Cordura boots to prevent penetration of waterproof booties or linings treated with Durable Water Repellant. Both products are breathable, have been approved for use with Gore-Tex® and can be supplied with EMTEX SplashCoat, our discontinuous, breathable heat-activated adhesive system

EMTEX Polybond

Polybond is a stitch-bonded polyester lining material, used as a doubler, lining and reinforcement for leather, that cuts cleanly without fraying.

Polybond comes in a variety of weights and can be dyed to customer specification. It can also be supplied with a Durable Water Repellant Treatment or SplashCoat, an EMTEX breathable, discontinuous, heat-activated adhesive system.

Typar Reinforcer
Now Available for production and delivery in Asia.

100% spun-bonded polypropylene. Typar's resistance to skewing and bias stretch make it an excellent backing for leather.

Available with Emtex SplashCoat, our heat activated adhesive system.
